Events

Zeta participates in multiple events on campus within the Greek community and the ISU community as a whole. 

Derby Days:

This event is hosted by a fraternity on campus. Many campus organizations compete in coin wars, a talent show, derby darling, sandcastle building, sidewalk chalking, a dance competition, tug o war, house decorations, a clothing drive, and relay events in order to win points in this week long philanthropy challenge. ZTA won this event.

Powderpuff Football:

This event is hosted by a sorority on campus. Many of the panhellenic sororities compete in powderpuff football games in order to raise money for this philanthropy.

White Rose Challenge:

This pageant is held by a fraternity on campus in order to raise money for their philanthropy. Each sorority chooses one member to compete as their white rose queen in the pageant. They also compete in coin wars and t-shirt sales. ZTA placed in this event.

March Madness Dance Competition:

This is a dance competition between all of the fraternities and sororities. Chapters practice from January till the end of march to complete their routine. ZTA is the current champion and has won the competition for the past two years. Check out the 'March Madness' tab under the photos category to see pictures and check out a video of our performance.

Greek Week:

Greek week is hosted by all campus chapters. It is a week long competition in coin wars, relay races, a cook-off, a banner contest, a board painting, and the Mr. and Mrs. Greek competition. ZTA placed in this event and also won the Mr. and Mrs. Greek competition.

 

Greek Awards:

This event is hosted by IFC and the Panhellenic Association. There are 9 chapter excellence awards that are awarded. Zeta Tau Alpha recieved the Chapter Excellence award in the area of Chapter Management.

Mud Volleyball:

This event is hosted by a sorority and fraternity pair. Chapters make teams to compete in a single elimination mud volleyball tournament to raise money for their philanthropy. The event is hosted at a barn with multiple volleyball courts.
